Discipleship Reclaimed
Disrupting and Dismantling Racism and Discrimination
Discipleship Guide
Rev. Dr. Erin Beasley
June 1st, 2025
The Gospel calls us to be peacemakers, truth-tellers, and reconcilers. The sin of racism and discrimination has caused deep wounds in the church and society. As followers of Jesus, we are called to actively work toward justice, equity, and belonging. Becoming the Beloved Community means examining our biases, repenting of past and present injustices, and boldly proclaiming that all people are created in God’s image. This is not optional; it is essential to our witness.
