Monica Mowdy, is an ordained elder of the United Methodist Church.

She currently serves as the church planter of The Wellspring, The

Upper Cumberland Branch of the Vine UMC in Crossville. The

Wellspring is a new gathering of worship communities that come

together to be the church in Cumberland County, TN. Monica is a

member of the Commission on Church and Society for the TWKUMC

Conference. Monica has served in various ministry settings for 20

years. A native Oklahoman, she graduated from Oklahoma State

University with a degrees in Child Development and Early Care and

Education.She received her Master of Divinity degree from Asbury

Theological Seminary in 2008. Monica lives in Crossville with her

family and enjoys wrangling her English Bulldogs, her cats and

bearded dragon, reading, writing and painting.
